That time has finally arrived. This is our last blog post from Virginia. I'm getting homesick already. We have absolutely loved our time here in the DC area but the time has come for us to leave. We are headed back to Utah where our house is waiting for us. Our upcoming move is really quite bittersweet... we are excited to be back in Utah with our extended family and friends there but we will greatly miss our friends here in Virginia and living near our nation's capital.
We will be driving back to Utah so wish us luck! We are going to take it slow and stop and see some sights to break up all the driving. Though we'll be on the road for a long time, we look forward to spending that time together as a family.

Good luck on your journey across the country. It will be a fun adventure. We are excited you will be back in the area. We will have to get together sometime early this fall when you have had a chance to settle back into life.
May I suggest one piece of advice for the ride home? Benadryl. Lots of Benadryl.

Hi Ann! I'm glad you guys made it safely back to Utah. I totally understand that bitter sweet feeling of leaving DC. We absolutely loved it there and are missing it lots...even though we are really enjoying where we are at. I'm glad I found your blog! It will be fun to see your cute family grow.
