Now my girls are just months away from starting kindergarten! Time sure flies. Rachel and Lydia had a great birthday. They enjoyed the additional birthday attention at home and at preschool (where they received their birthday crowns), and they loved having extended family over to celebrate. We love Lydia and Rachel and we're glad they had a fun day.
I made Rachel and Lydia a hot air balloon cake, at theirrequest. Notice the cute girls riding in it.

Happy Birthday Lydia & Rachel! It really does seem like yesterday that I was sitting at your baby shower. You have beautiful girls and I am glad I had a chance to get to know them a little better.
I am glad the girls had a fun birthday! The cake is very cute. I really appreciate your post. Finding out I was having twin girls has been an emotional roller coaster. I am excited, but nervous about everything. Seeing your sweet girls is very helpful. They look like such great friends and It helps me picture my girls!

Happy birthday to your sweet twins! Can you believe it's been 5 years!? It seems like just yesterday I was looking at those pics of them as newborns. I have loved watching your girls grow up--such a unique experience and the similarities between our sets of twins are uncanny.
Looks like you celebrated in style! Love the cake. I am still wishing we could get our girls together--would definitely solve the ol' "three's a crowd" situation we always run into with friends!! :)
Oh, they're so cute. I love the photos of them as babies; they sure seemed to have a special bond from the very beginning.
