The twins got these princess dresses for Christmas. They like to pretend they are ballerinas when they wear them. Ballerinas or not, we think they're just plain adorable.

Happy Birthday Rachel and Lydia!
Charity is crawling EVERYWHERE
Charity is quite mobile now and our house is not nearly as baby-proof as it should be. When we moved in 2 months ago Charity was still just a slug on the ground and the twins are past the stage of needing child-proofing. Charity has the incredible ability to find things she shouldn't be playing with and just ignore her toys. Even though it has been hard she is still completely adorable as she crawls around and it's impossible to get angry with her.

Saturday DC Excursions
Living in the DC area has been a blast so far. We just take Saturday mornings and go check out something cool downtown. We have seen both of the National Air and Space Museums, The Natural History Museum, National Zoo, and National Archives to name a few.

Christmas 2007
Christmas this year was absolutely deeeeeeeelightful! We really enjoyed spending time together as a family. Joe and Candis also made the trip up from South Carolina to spend Christmas with us which we loved. This Christmas was really fun because it was the first time the twins really understood what was going on. Last year they had fun opening presents and such, but didn't quite understand the whole Santa idea or the suspense leading up to Christmas. This year, however, they have been talking about Christmas for a month, made special cookies just for Santa, and had a hard time getting to sleep on Christmas eve.
Lydia really melted our hearts when on Christmas evening we asked her what her favorite gift was and she said "the picture of Jesus." We had given each of the kids a small picture of Jesus they could hang up in their rooms. They really got spoiled this year but their two favorite things are their Jesus pictures and a tube of chapstick Santa put in their stockings. They ask if they can put more chapstick on 23 times a day. When we let them, they really cake it on all around the general mouth area. We really should only spend $5 on Christmas and the kids would still be thrilled about it.

The Move to Washington DC
We decided to move to Washington DC for a couple of years for Kenny's job. We are finally starting to get settled in and are enjoying things here. Here are some pictures of our time here so far.
This is the townhouse that we are renting while we are here. Please don't ask us how much we are paying for rent; we cry every time we think about it.
The Reese family visiting the Washington DC LDS temple during their Christmas display. They had a great lighting display that is very well known around here. They also had a live Nativity and a different musical group entertaining every night. The night we went we got to see a group of bell ringers. The twins loved it and were even dancing in the aisle.
