Baby Animal Days
We were able to take the girls to Baby Animal Days at a local historical farm. They loved it! We took Lydia and Rachel back when they were two years old but hadn't been able to go again since we were living in Virginia. Kenny and I had a chuckle about how so many city slickers (such as us) were willing to pay money to pet some farm animals. It was worth it though...we all had a great time!

Update
I haven't blogged for awhile so here's a quick update of what's going on around here. We continue to slowly unpack boxes and settle into our home...still nothing on the walls yet. We are loving the warmer spring weather that we've been having recently and the girls love being outside. We don't have a yard yet so being outside involves riding bikes around the neighborhood or running around the driveway- both are equally enjoyed. Below are some more happenings with pics.
Recently Lydia and Rachel think it's fun to dress exactly alike
when they go to preschool (right down to the same socks, hairstyle, etc.)
to see if their preschool teacher can really tell them apart.
We watched Kenny's brother's girls for a few days and our girls had a
blast. Who wouldn't love adding two more girls to a household (as
if Kenny wasn't already outnumbered enough)?
It's fun to see your kids' imaginations run free and our
girls are always coming up with new play ideas. This

House pictures
Ok, so I finally took a couple pictures of our new house. It's pretty much just pictures of the great room area but you'll get the basic idea.

We're really enjoying our new neighborhood and we're finally starting to feel settled in. Though we still have plenty of boxes to go through, we've at least dug out the stuff we need now and have pushed the full boxes out of sight. The walls are still bare, but one step at a time right? We're excited to be all moved in!

All Moved In!
We're all moved into our new home! We just barely got our computer back up and running. Hopefully I'll get around to posting a couple of pics of our new place soon!

Happy Birthday Lydia and Rachel!
Five years old already? It seems like just yesterday life was like this:

Now my girls are just months away from starting kindergarten! Time sure flies. Rachel and Lydia had a great birthday. They enjoyed the additional birthday attention at home and at preschool (where they received their birthday crowns), and they loved having extended family over to celebrate. We love Lydia and Rachel and we're glad they had a fun day.

I made Rachel and Lydia a hot air balloon cake, at their
request. Notice the cute girls riding in it.
